Dr. Ernst Ludes

Dr. Ernst Ludes is the Founder and Managing Partner of TurningPoint Investments. He has decades of experience in Private Equity, M&A and Investment Strategy.

Before founding TurningPoint Investments, he was a Partner and Global Head of Industrials at EQT Partners and Head of Europe at CVCapital. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Alchemy Partners. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, advising companies on strategy and process optimization.

His Private Equity background informs both areas of TurningPoint Investments: In transactions, he brings a deep understanding of how buyers assess investment opportunities and make decisions; in investments, he applies a Private Equity mindset to Public Markets. His work focuses on M&A, investment strategy, investment processes and portfolio & benchmark reviews.

He holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Freiburg, Germany.
